historic, political, cultural and scientific centre of Ukraine. There are many
historical and architectural monuments in Kyiv.
Kyiv is famous
for its Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, St. Sophia cathedral, Golden Gates, Vladimirska
church and many other places of interest.There are many schools, technical
schools, colleges and higher educational establishments in Kyiv. Shevchenko
State University and Kyivo-Mogilanska Academy are the oldest and the best
Higher Schools in Ukraine. There are many libraries in Kyiv. The Academy of Science is situated
in Kyiv.
